why ?

Peacefully was going home , yes Peacefully I was , I passed by a few officers at the a street near El Tharer Square (where their was explosions few days ago) , I said hey , for my unfortunate luck it appears that they weren't so pleased by my , how ? Why? I have no clue what so ever, So they just stopped me & started to waste my time , for what ? Only because I refused to tell them where I was going , Yes I don't have to tell them . I believe its one of my simplest rights as a citizen, shouldn't I have any privacy?
So they took my ID & stared to enjoy wasting my time till one of them gave it back to me out of sympathy maybe, I don't know …
& then the government & our dear leaderships climes that citizens don't cooperate.. mm I wonder why ?

Typical
Because of the recent bombing in cairo there must be instability around the place, so the police thinks it is a good reason to invade a person's privacy and deny him his rights as a citizen and as a human.
It's impossible how the government thinks it's "almighty".
LoL...yeah good question Abdelsalam...i also wonder why they think citizens don't co-operate. I cant find an answer.

Stupidity
Hi, Abdelsalam this is Ahmed Haroon. I think it is a full stupidity because the bombing was already happened. The police is expecting to find the exploded person between the people after the bombing!!!....I don't like the police way of action or thinking. I don't even find an answer to your question ''why?'' except ''stupidity''.

Hey Guys,
I faced the same will I was in cairo last friday as i was stopped 4 times in the street near "Kobry kasr el Nil" but guys put yourself instead of security people, i think you will find yourself forced to do the same as they are doing, they have to control over it again. right?

Right
Your principle itself is right moustafa. I totally agree. But not with the way they do it. They show no respect whatsoever for you as a citizen with rights. In addition it is mentioned in the constitution that The police has no right to stop any person just walking in the street and search him and invade his privacy based on suspicion and if it has to be so then with a written permission. But i think that doesnt count anymore.

I have to admit something that they dealed with me very good and I even asked them "who are you people?" they said police, I said show me you ID and they did. Also, when they stopped me, they said sorry but you know how is our country state now.
So, i was easy dealing with them.
